Remo Stars’ Victory against Kwara United Shows Players’ Determination – Ogunmodede

The head coach of Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmodede, commended his players for their determination in the victory against Kwara United. The match ended 2-0 in favor of Ogunmodede’s side at the Remo Stars Stadium on Sunday. Adebayo Olamilekan and Samad Kadri were the goal scorers for Remo Stars.

Following the win, Remo Stars reclaimed the top spot on the NPFL table. Ogunmodede mentioned that dropping to the second position before the game added extra pressure to his team. In his words, “Good performance from the boys as it’s a big pressure to be out of the top of the table before the game.”

He also praised the players for dealing with the pressure as Kwara United came out strong in the first half, which Remo Stars barely managed to survive. However, they improved their game in the second half after realizing the importance of securing a victory.

Expressing his delight, Ogunmodede said, “We are happy to be back at the top of the table.” Remo Stars’ next league game will be against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
