Commendations were given by Remo Stars Ladies’ head coach, Wemimo Mathew to his players despite their loss to Bayelsa Queens.
At the Samson Siasia Stadium on Wednesday, the Sky Blue Ladies suffered a 3-1 defeat against Bayelsa Queens.
Mathew expressed satisfaction with the effort put in by his players during the game.
During a press conference, he mentioned, “Remo Stars Ladies did their utmost, acknowledging that in football, victories, draws, and defeats are all part of the game.”
He further added, “I must applaud my girls for their relentless fight until the very end.
“The second goal scored by Bayelsa Queens took my girls by surprise, however, overall, they displayed a commendable performance.”
After 11 games, Remo Stars Ladies have accumulated 12 points.
