Getting ready for the CAF Champions League preliminary round showdown against AS FAR, Nigeria Premier Football League team, Remo Stars, has initiated its preparations.
In the first leg, the Sky Blue Stars will face off against their Moroccan opponents at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
The much-anticipated match is scheduled for Sunday, August 18, 2024.
A week later, the reverse fixture will take place.
Under the leadership of Daniel Ogunmodede, the team had an intense training session at their home ground recently.
X expressed the team’s commitment to readiness by stating, “The preparation for AS FAR is on.”
The victor of this two-legged confrontation will go head-to-head with the winner between Sudan’s El Merreikh and Kenya’s Goh Mahia in the subsequent preliminary round.
It is worth noting that AS FAR eliminated Remo Stars during the preliminary round of the previous season.
