When a portal to another world opens, demons enter our realm. Ku San-Young (Kim Tae-Ri) gets possessed by one of these demons, while Yeom Hae-Sang (Oh Jung-Se) has the ability to see the possessing demon. Together, they venture to uncover the truth behind mysterious deaths linked to five sacred objects.
Ku San-Young leads a busy life, juggling part-time work in the day and night studies to become a junior public officer. Strange deaths occur around her after receiving her late father’s articles, leading to a gradual transformation.
Coming from a wealthy family, Yeom Hae-Sang teaches Korean folklore at a university. Since childhood, he could perceive demons in our world. Witnessing his mother’s tragic death by a demon in his early years, he encounters the same demon responsible for her demise upon meeting Ku San-Young.
Lieutenant Lee Hong-Sae (Hong Kyung), part of the violent crimes investigation team, focuses solely on advancing his career within the police. However, due to involvement with Ku San-Young and Yeom Hae-Sang, he becomes entangled in intricate cases.
