Reflections on Eid-El-Kabir: Governor Mbah’s Message of Unity and Sacrifice


Offering his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim community in Enugu State and beyond, Governor Dr. Peter Mbah underscores the importance of love, sacrifice, and unity in his message for this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebrations. He emphasizes the need for Nigerians to come together in a spirit of tolerance and peace to propel the nation towards progress.

Speaking on Sunday during Eid el-Kabir, Mbah highlighted the significance of collective sacrifice and dedication to nation-building as key solutions to current socio-economic challenges.

“Warm greetings are extended to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Enugu State and across the nation as we mark Eid el-Kabir,” he expressed.

On this occasion, Mbah urges reflection on the values of sacrifice, generosity, love, harmony, and obedience to God’s will. He calls for a sense of community where no one is left behind, emphasizing the importance of working together with love and dedication to overcome hurdles and shape a better future for Nigeria.

“Our commitment as a government is to foster an inclusive society in Enugu State, where individuals can prosper regardless of their political, religious, or cultural affiliations,” he added.
