The official who will officiate the UEFA Super Cup final showdown between Real Madrid and Atalanta has been confirmed.
UEFA has appointed Switzerland’s Sandro Schärer as the referee for the European Super Cup final, which will take place at Warsaw’s Stadion Narodowy.
Real Madrid made the announcement on Monday through a post on their website.
This will mark the second occasion that the Swiss referee will oversee a Real Madrid match.
Schärer’s debut officiating a Real Madrid game was during the 2022–23 Champions League Group Stage, where Los Blancos secured a 3-0 victory against Celtic.
The kickoff time for the Real Madrid vs Atalanta match is set for 8 pm Nigerian time.
