Recorded Rise in Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Nigeria

As of Thursday, June 18, 2020, the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Nigeria has reached 18,480, with 745 new positive cases identified in the last 24 hours.

 

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reported that Lagos recorded 280 new cases, Oyo 103, Ebonyi 72, FCT 60, Imo 46, Edo 34, Delta 33, Rivers 25, Kaduna 23, Ondo 16, Katsina 12, Kano 10, Bauchi 8, Borno 7, Kwara 5, Gombe 4, Sokoto 2, Enugu 2, Yobe 1, Osun 1, and Nasarawa State 1.

 

 Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria hit 18,480 after 745 people tested positive in 24 hours

 

The total tally of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria now stands at 18,480. Of these, 6,307 patients have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, while 475 deaths have been recorded.
