Reaction to Man Utd’s 2-1 Win over Man City in FA Cup

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Manchester United’s new co-owner, praised the team for securing the FA Cup this season. The Red Devils managed to edge out rivals Manchester City with a 2-1 victory at Wembley on Saturday. Alejandro Garnacho capitalized on a defensive mistake to score the opener, followed by Kobbie Mainoo finishing a well-executed team play for the second goal. While Jeremy Doku did manage to find the net late in the game, it was only a consolation goal.

Ratcliffe expressed his delight, stating, “Winning the FA Cup final at Wembley is an incredible achievement. Manchester United certainly weren’t considered the favorites for today’s match, but their unwavering commitment and skill allowed them to overcome one of football’s greatest teams. We are immensely proud of the players and the dedicated staff who consistently support them.”
