Reacting to the report of dumping the alleged fraudster, Hushpuppi’s lawyer, Gal Pissetzky states that the case is making progress

Gal Pissetzky, a prominent lawyer based in Chicago, who is providing legal representation for suspected Internet fraudster, Ramon Abass, also known as Hushpuppi, has expressed that the outlook of the case is promising. Despite being denied bail and being transferred to California, Pissetzky is committed to standing by his client.

Refuting rumors about abandoning the suspect, the lawyer affirmed to Punch that he will continue to defend Hushpuppi in California, where the case has been relocated. He further conveyed optimism about Hushpuppi’s chances of being acquitted.

Pissetzky stated:

“I am still representing him. I will be in California for the case.

“Our legal system is quite different from yours. That he was denied bail does not mean his case is getting worse. Actually, I think it’s getting better. I am not, however, allowed to comment on the facts of the case.

“There is no new evidence put forward by the FBI at this point. Whatever news report that suggests things are getting worse for him is not true.”
