Cornell Haynes, better known as Grammy award-winning rapper Nelly, has officially become a grandfather.
The 48-year-old rapper, who gained fame through the reality TV show Nellyville that aired on BET from 2014-2015, has never been married but has two children with his former girlfriend, Channeta Valentine.
Nelly’s daughter Chanelle ‘Nana’ Haynes, aged 29, recently gave birth to a baby boy named Ace.
In addition to this exciting news, Nelly also performed at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) pre-show on Tuesday and confirmed his relationship with Grammy award-winning singer Ashanti.
Nelly and Ashanti had an on-again, off-again relationship for about 11 years before breaking up in 2013 and recently reuniting.
