Rapist who turned up late to house parties to target drunk 13-year-old girls jailed Rapist who turned up late to house parties to target drunk 13-year-old girls jailed

A rapist has been sentenced to five years in jail for targeting young girls who had been drinking at house parties. Jordan Pearson, who was 17 at the time, was found guilty of raping two 13-year-old girls in Dundee in 2019.

He was also convicted of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl and engaging in unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl.

Following his denial of these charges, he was handed the jail sentence after being found guilty of the crimes. The incidents occurred at addresses in Dundee on November 9, 2018, and August 17, 2019, while the girls were intoxicated and incapable of giving or withholding consent.

Pearson was also found guilty of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl, whom he tried to kiss at a house in the city on August 17, 2019, and engaging in illegal sexual intercourse with another underage 13-year-old girl in Dundee in 2019.

Judge Alison Stirling stated that custody was the “only appropriate disposal” and cited reasons such as punishment, protection of the public, and rehabilitation in custody.

The judge took into account Pearson’s age at the time of the crimes and also noted that he had been diagnosed with ADHD and had misused cannabis and alcohol, but was now abstaining from alcohol.

Pearson will be under supervision for a further three-year period and has been placed on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.
