Rangers’ Victory Over St Johnstone Led by Dessers in Scottish Premiership

Exciting moments unfolded as Cyriel Dessers shone by scoring and assisting in Rangers’ impressive 2-0 triumph against St. Johnstone in the Scottish League Cup over the weekend.

Despite a recent setback in the UEFA Champions League, the Light Blues showcased a strong performance at Hampden Park.

Dessers initially began the match on the sidelines but emerged as a game-changer when he substituted for Danilo in the second half.

It was on the hour mark that the forward broke the deadlock for Rangers, courtesy of an assist from Rabbi Rotondo.

Adding to his contribution, the Nigerian talent then set up Ross McCausland for the second goal, just two minutes into stoppage time.

With this display, Dessers has now netted four goals in five appearances across various competitions for Philippe Clement’s squad this campaign.
