Winning the Nigeria Premier Football League title for the 2023/24 season has earned Rangers a prize money of N150m.
The Flying Antelopes secured their eighth NPFL title with a 2-0 win over Bendel Insurance at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Sunday.
Kenechukwu Agu and Chidiebere Nwobodo found the back of the net for the home team, thrilling the packed crowd at ‘The Cathedral,’ which included Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah.
It has been eight years since the Coal City outfit last clinched the championship.
Rangers will lift the trophy after their upcoming match against Plateau United in Jos this weekend.
The team led by Fidelis Ilechukwu will be Nigeria’s representative in the CAF Champions League next season.
