Today, Rangers are poised to claim their eighth Nigeria Premier Football League championship as they face Bendel Insurance at ‘The Cathedral’ Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu.
In order to clinch the title, the Flying Antelopes need to secure a victory against the Benin Arsenals and also hope that their competitors, Remo Stars and Enyimba, stumble in their respective matches.
Remo Stars, currently in second place, will be playing against Sunshine Stars in Akure.
Defending champions Enyimba will be facing Sporting Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan.
Rangers are leading the table with 64 points from 36 matches, followed by Remo Stars with 62 points, and Enyimba in third place with 60 points.
The last time Rangers secured the NPFL title was back in 2016.
