Rangers clinch victory over St Mirren with winning goal from Dessers

Securing a 2-1 win against St. Mirren at The SMISA Stadium in Paisley on Sunday, Rangers saw Cyriel Dessers emerge as the standout performer.

The opening goal came in the 32nd minute when James Bolton inadvertently found the back of his own net, giving Rangers the lead.

But the lead was short-lived as Mikael Mandron equalized for St. Mirren just five minutes later.

Cyriel Dessers then seized the moment, netting the winning goal with just 16 minutes remaining on the clock.

This goal marked Dessers’ 20th of the season across various competitions for the Light Blues.

The Nigeria international, who played the entire game, showcased his skill and tenacity throughout.

Joining him, compatriot Leon Balogun also put on a solid 90-minute performance in what was a fiercely competitive clash.
