Nigerians have expressed their thoughts on a video shared by RCCG general overseer, Pastor E.A Adeboye. In the video, he asserts that being hidden in the secret place of the Almighty prevents viruses from coming near. This statement has sparked conversation amidst the ongoing battle against the Coronavirus pandemic.
On his verified Instagram handle, the clergyman conveyed, “I want to assure you that there is no virus that can come near you at all because it is written that those that dwell in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I believe that this is a time for God to show you clearly that there is a difference between those who serve him wholeheartedly and those who do not”.
Nigerians are expressing their displeasure over the video. They argue that it is unfair for the clergyman to insinuate that those currently infected by the virus are not hiding under God’s shadow.
