PSG Drops Ugarte from Squad for Le Havre Match Amid Man Utd Interest

Exclusion from the Paris Saint-Germain squad for their Ligue 1 opener against Le Havre is the fate of Manuel Ugarte.

Manchester United is showing interest in the 23-year-old player this summer.

The proximity of a transfer is evident as Ugarte is not among the 20 players selected for Saturday’s PSG match.

Reports from Fabrizio Romano suggest ongoing negotiations between United and PSG, with the deal still very much alive.

Ugarte was acquired from Sporting Lisbon for approximately £51 million ($66m), which is close to PSG’s current valuation for the player.

However, United has been hesitant to meet this asking price, causing a standstill in the transfer process.
