Former lawmaker Senator Shehu Sani has advised ladies in the north not to imitate the naked protests of Osun youths during the ongoing nationwide demonstrations against economic hardships.
In a statement, Sani emphasized the importance of refraining from such actions, no matter how frustrated they may be with the current economic situation.
“I appeal to our ladies not to follow the example of the Osun youths who protested naked, regardless of the level of discontent with the economic conditions,” he expressed.
Recent protests that began on August 1, 2024, have seen Nigerians across the country voice their concerns about pervasive hunger and escalating inflation.
