President Tinubu’s Scheduled Address to Nigerians on Sunday

Set for Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am, President Bola Tinubu is prepared to make a national broadcast.

In a statement titled ‘President Tinubu to address the nation,’ the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, announced this development on Saturday.

All television, radio, and electronic media outlets have been encouraged to participate by tuning in to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria for the broadcast.

It was further mentioned in the statement, “The broadcast will also be shown again on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.”

Meanwhile, protests have continued across Lagos, Oyo, Abuja, and other states, with demands including the reversal of fuel subsidy removal and the escalating cost of goods and services within the country.

Unfortunately, the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria movement has been marred by incidents of looting in Kano and other northern regions, prompting police action to apprehend the perpetrators and recover stolen items.
