Approval has been granted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the selection of 4 Permanent Secretaries to serve in the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
The need for these appointments arose due to the upcoming retirements of two Permanent Secretaries and the establishment of the Youth Development Secretariat.
The individuals appointed as Permanent Secretaries are as follows:
– Okeke Joy Chinwe (South East)
– Ajayi Rotimi Babatunde (South West)
– Nathan Nancy Sabanti (North East)
Furthermore, Tinubu has given the green light for the formalization of the role of the Solicitor-General of the FCT Administration to become the Solicitor General/Permanent Secretary for the Legal Services Secretariat.
A swearing-in ceremony has been scheduled for the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and the Mandate Secretary for the Youth Development Secretariat on Thursday, 15th August 2024.
