President Buhari has responded to TY Danjuma and commented on his relationship with Vice President Osinbajo. In an interview, Buhari addressed a statement made by retired Nigerian General, Theophilus Danjuma, about the current state of affairs in the country.
Danjuma had hinted that if he revealed what he knows about the government, it would greatly concern Nigerians. However, in an interview with ‘The Interview’ Team, Buhari emphasized that his relationship with Osinbajo is “perfect.” He confidently stated that his deputy has not raised any complaints about their working relationship.
When asked about his thoughts on Danjuma’s lack of confidence in his leadership, Buhari brushed it off, mentioning that the retired general’s opinion does not hold more weight than the millions of voters who supported him. He pointed out that his re-election was a testament to his voters’ confidence and endorsement of his government’s initiatives.
Buhari emphasized the significance of the public’s confidence in him, as reflected in the polls from the previous year. He stressed that this collective show of support from the Nigerian populace carries more weight than the opinion of a single individual.
