Premier League Predictions: Gary Neville Forecasts Top Four Teams and Title Winner for Current Season

Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville, has shared his insights on which teams he believes will secure the top four spots in the Premier League for this season.

The 2024-25 Premier League campaign kicked off with Manchester United clinching a 1-0 victory over Fulham on Friday night.

Neville is of the opinion that Liverpool, one of Manchester United’s main competitors, will not make it to the top four in the current season.

He also expressed his confidence in Manchester United making significant improvements to secure a top-four finish.

Despite finishing third in the previous season, the Reds were comfortably 14 points ahead of fourth-placed Aston Villa and a substantial 22 points clear of Manchester United, who disappointingly ended the season in 8th place.

This marked the Red Devils’ lowest-ever position in the league.

Neville is optimistic about Manchester United’s progress in the upcoming season.

In his forecast for the top four teams in the 2024-25 Premier League season, Neville stated (quoted by TBR Football),

“I have chosen Arsenal to be in the top four, just like I did last year. I believe they are steadily approaching that next level, and this could be their breakthrough season.

“I predict Manchester City to secure second place, Manchester United to come in third, albeit with a hint of sarcasm, and Tottenham to finish fourth.

“I mean, Manchester United had a decent season the year before last. The most recent one was a complete disaster. However, I am confident that they will make significant strides in improvement.”
