A tragic incident has been reported where a pregnant woman allegedly lost her baby after being detained by the Rivers State Police alongside her husband while they were on their way to the hospital. According to media personality Kofi Bartels, the couple’s detention was a result of the lockdown order imposed by Governor Nyesom Wike, which restricts movement without an exemption letter or permit from the government.
Due to their lack of the required documentation, the couple was detained, causing a significant delay in their journey to the hospital. Unfortunately, by the time they were released and managed to reach the hospital, it was too late and the baby had already been lost.
