In an interesting turn of events, former Arsenal player Ray Parlour has voiced his belief that the Gunners will clinch the coveted Premier League title for the 2024/25 season.
Despite acknowledging that Manchester City is likely to be the frontrunners according to bookmakers, Parlour remains optimistic about Arsenal’s chances.
Arsenal has fallen short of securing the league title in the past two seasons, trailing behind the dominant Man City.
As the new 2024-25 season kicks off on August 16, Parlour shared his bold prediction.
During a talk on talkSPORT (via TBR), Parlour expressed, “While Man City may be considered favorites for the title, I see a strong possibility for Arsenal to emerge victorious.”
He further added, “Bookmakers tend to be accurate in their assessments, and they are likely to place Man City as the top contenders aiming for a fifth consecutive win. Regardless, my prediction is in favor of Arsenal, even though they may not carry the favorites tag at the season’s commencement.”
