Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, shared the news of the discharge of seven coronavirus (COVID-19) patients in the state through his Twitter account.
“The latest breakthrough from IDH, Yaba, reflects our unwavering commitment to combat the deadly #COVID19 pandemic affecting the globe. Today, we celebrate the recovery and discharge of 7 more patients who have tested negative for #COVID19 twice in a row. This action supports our intensified efforts in conducting an Active Case Search to locate potential #COVID19 cases across different communities in the state.”
He also revealed that among the discharged patients, there is one female and six males, three of whom are foreign nationals – two Ukrainians and one Italian.
