Positive Outlook on Investment Opportunities in Abia as Shared by UK-Based Industrialist

Chief Charles Lawrence Nwangwa, a UK-based industrialist originally from Abia, expressed his belief that Abia State presents a conducive environment for investments, particularly for diaspora investors.

Speaking during the New Yam festival of the Igbo community in the UK, Chief Nwangwa commended Governor Alex Otti for his effective leadership, noting the attractiveness of Abia State to potential investors under his governance.

Emphasizing the state’s welcoming approach to diaspora investments, Chief Nwangwa invited those with viable investment proposals to engage directly with state officials, including the governor.

He highlighted Governor Otti’s dedication to attracting investments, positioning Abia as a prime investment destination.

Chief Nwangwa attributed Otti’s accomplishments to his wealth of experience, commending the progress Abia State has witnessed under his administration and advocating for further investments in the state.

Despite acknowledging security challenges in some areas, Chief Nwangwa praised Governor Otti for his governance skills, noting Abia’s status as the safest state in the South-East region.

He remarked, “Governor Otti’s effective management of security issues has ensured peace and propelled the state towards development.”

During the event, Chief Nwangwa also expressed admiration for the Igbo Union in the UK, recognizing their efforts in fostering a strong diaspora community.

Chief Kenneth Ofoegbu, popularly known as ‘Aba Boy,’ echoed the sentiment of pride in Governor Otti’s achievements, noting the positive perception of the governor as a symbol of good governance among Nigerians in the UK.

He added, “Governor Otti may speak little, but his achievements speak volumes about his leadership.”
