In a recent development, all police officers attached to the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, have been withdrawn by the Inspector General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun.
This decision was communicated through a police wireless message that was observed by our correspondent on Friday.
The official document, referenced as “CB:4001/DOPS/PMF/FHQ/ABJ/VOL.48/ 34, stated, “IG has ordered the withdrawal of all policemen attached to His Excellency and former Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
“Please acknowledge compliance and handle with utmost importance. This information is to be noted and strictly adhered to.”
