Police officers allegedly raid homes in Ughelli, Delta state in search of #EndSARS protesters that killed their colleague (video)


Police officers allegedly raided homes in Ughelli, Delta state today October 9 in search of #EndSARS protesters who killed their colleague on Thursday, October 8.

 

Recall that some youths in the area staged a protest calling for the disbandment of SARS in the state. However, the protest became violent. It is alleged that an officer fired a gunshot to disperse the protesters but the gunshot landed on a boy leaving him with serious gun injuries. The protesters allegedly ganged up and killed the police officer and then took away his rifle. Read here.

 

Today, residents of the community shared videos online claiming some officers stormed their area in search of those that killed the officer.
