Denying the rumors, the Lagos State Police Command clarified that Afro singer Ibrahim Owodunni, also known as Primeboy, was not re-arrested in connection to the death of his colleague, Ilerioluwa Aloba (Mohbad).
Primeboy, previously apprehended amidst the controversies surrounding Mohbad’s passing, reportedly visits the State Criminal Investigation Department at Panti, Yaba weekly throughout the ongoing investigation.
Contrary to circulating reports, Primeboy’s alleged re-arrest during his recent SCID visit on Tuesday was debunked by the Lagos police command.
Setting the record straight, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, refuted the claims as inaccurate, confirming that the singer was allowed to leave on Tuesday, instructed to return on Wednesday.
Responding to inquiries, the PPRO dismissed the reports as “False. He was allowed to go home and report back today.”
