Today, the Abuja police command displayed the suspects from the recent bank robbery incident in Mpape, located in the FCT. One of the suspects, Larry Ehizo, holds the position of Customer Relations Officer in a bank.
The robbers entered the bank with the intention of stealing money but surrendered after one of their group members was killed by security operatives. The initial story can be read here.
Larry brought three other accomplices – Timothy Joe, 21, Princewill Obinna, 24, and Elijah David, 19 – to the bank in an attempt to steal a large sum of money.
Larry, who planned the robbery, also drove his cohorts to the bank in his car and provided them with directions on how to access the vault. He indicated to the police that the mastermind of the robbery, someone named Ernest who is still at large, had threatened to harm his family if he did not organize the robbery.
