Plateau state government announces plan to honor Ropvil Dalyep, a UNIMAID student murdered by Boko Haram

Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, revealed that the state government has finalized arrangements to commemorate Ropvil Dalyep, a University of Maiduguri student who was recently killed by members of Boko Haram.

Dalyep, a resident of Jing, was abducted by Boko Haram militants on January 9th while en route to Maiduguri for school, and was tragically murdered on January 22nd.

During a condolence visit to the family of the deceased, Governor Lalong conveyed:

“We will find a place to put his name in Jos. I pray God will continue to console the family and the culprits be fished out.

Their reward is in hell and his in heaven. Please take it in good faith,”
