“Pick 4 of your choice out of the 10 women” – Keke rider who returned passenger’s N15m offered 4 women to marry

The commendable action of a 22-year-old commercial keke rider in Kano state, Auwalu Salisu, has garnered him an unusual reward of four potential marriage partners. Salisu was honored by the Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association, also known as Mai Dalilin Aure, for returning a large sum of N15 million to a passenger who had inadvertently left the cash in his tricycle.

The remarkable story unfolded when a traveler from the Republic of Chad, who had come to Kano for purchases, accidentally left behind the N15 million in Salisu’s tricycle. Despite facing ridicule from friends and relatives for his honesty, Salisu made the praiseworthy decision to return the entire sum to its rightful owner after hearing about it on the radio.

Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai, the chairman of the matching association, lauded Salisu’s exceptional qualities during an interview with Freedom Radio in Kano. As an expression of gratitude, the Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association offered Salisu the opportunity to choose four women from a selection of ten potential prospects for marriage.

In an unforeseen turn of events, Yakasai revealed that two of the women in the list were his own daughters. He stated, “The boy has shown the good character of our Noble Prophet, Muhammad (SAW). He is indeed trustworthy. That is why we have decided to honor him with these gifts. There are 10 women for him to select four. Two of them are my daughters.”
