Peruzzi used to receive Davido’s pre-owned attire in exchange for writing his songs

Peruzzi, the singer and songwriter also known as Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, recently shared that he used to accept his record label boss Davido’s hand-me-down clothes as compensation for composing songs for him.

During an episode of content creator Bae U Barbie’s show, Curiosity Made Me Ask, Peruzzi made this revelation.

When asked by the host if it was true that Davido compensated him with his used clothing for writing songs, Peruzzi responded frankly, “I have to be sincere, I did indeed receive Davido’s second-hand clothes as payment for writing songs for him.”

He added, “However, on one occasion, I wrote a song, and he compensated me with money instead, so I stopped accepting clothes as payment.”

Peruzzi also mentioned that this was something he used to do in the past.

Previously, Peruzzi had disclosed that he penned several of Davido’s songs, such as ‘Assurance,’ ‘Unavailable,’ ‘Flora My Flower,’ among others.
