Peruzzi has issued an official statement addressing the rape accusations made against him by a woman. The lady accused the singer of raping her in 2012 via her Twitter handle.
Following the allegation, old tweets of the singer resurfaced where he proclaimed himself a rapist and openly endorsed rape culture.
In his statement on Thursday afternoon, June 4, he vehemently denied the rape accusation, asserting that he has never raped or sexually assaulted anyone.
He also expressed regret for his previous tweets in which he declared himself a rapist and supported the rape culture.
