Pep Guardiola: Haaland to Miss Brighton Clash Due to Injury

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Erling Haaland will sit out the upcoming Premier League match against Brighton due to an injury setback.

Haaland, who suffered a muscle issue in the victory over Real Madrid, was absent from the FA Cup semi-final triumph over Chelsea and has not yet returned to training.

Guardiola, addressing the media today, revealed that Haaland’s absence will continue at the Amex Stadium clash. On the bright side, Phil Foden and John Stones are both back in contention.

Guardiola explained, “Erling will not be fit for tomorrow’s game against Brighton. It’s a minor problem keeping him out this time.”
