In the midst of England’s search for a new manager, Pep Guardiola has clarified his commitment to Manchester City.
Following Gareth Southgate’s departure after the Euro 2024 final loss to Spain, the Football Association (FA) has been in pursuit of his replacement.
With the FA’s application deadline passing on August 2, Guardiola reaffirmed his contentment at City, emphasizing that he still has one season remaining on his contract.
Speaking to the press, Guardiola expressed his satisfaction, stating, “I am here, I am really pleased. I cannot say anything. I don’t know where it has come from. I am really satisfied here.”
He added, “I am desperate for when the players are ready to come back to start to train all together and refresh what we have to do.”
