PDP youth leader in Imo allegedly killed by assailants

The unfortunate killing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth leader in Imo by unknown assailants has stirred up distress. Kenneth Amukamara, the youth leader in the Oru-East Local government area, was reportedly attacked and killed at his residence on the night of May 31. The violent act also included the burning of his house and destruction of his brother’s vehicles, who is a retired soldier.

Greg Nwadike, the PDP State Youth Leader, confirmed the tragic incident. He revealed that the assailants not only took the life of Kenneth but also set his house ablaze. The statement released by Nwadike expressed grief over the killing and urged the youths in Imo to avoid conflict and ensure their safety.

The Imo State Police Command’s spokesperson, Bala Elkana, declined to provide any comments, citing a lack of information about the incident. The situation emphasizes the urgent need for a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
