Renowned Nollywood actor, Patrick Doyle, has expressed his belief that the renowned Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, should be awarded a national honour.
He made this assertion on Tuesday in response to the singer’s remarkable performance at the ongoing 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Sharing his sentiments through a series of Instagram posts, Doyle lauded Alade as Nigeria’s most prominent cultural representative, stressing that she is deserving of national recognition.
Accompanied by a clip of her performance, he stated, “Behold, Nigeria’s most valuable cultural ambassador. Yemi Alade is nothing short of a national treasure, she deserves a national honour.”
