A video circulating on social media showed civilians overpowering soldiers during a confrontation at Banex earlier on Saturday. An individual named Abdul, who is a trader at the market, mentioned that the dispute originated from a disagreement regarding the sale of a mobile phone. Confirming the incident, the FCT Police Command's spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that the Commissioner of Police, Benett Igweh, has dispatched officers from the FCT Intelligence Response Team to the location. "The CP has mobilized the Intelligence Response Team to the site," Adeh affirmed.
