Photos: Pope Francis decorates Governor Willie Obiano with the Knight Commander of the Pontifical Order of St Gregory the Great title
Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State received the prestigious title of Knight Commander of the Pontifical Order of St. Gregory the Great (KCSG) from Pope Francis in a ceremony held at the Vatican in Rome, Italy on January 15th.
This title is among the five Orders of Knighthood of the Holy See conferred upon Roman Catholic individuals in recognition of their dedicated service to the Holy See and the Catholic Church, as well as their exceptional contributions to their communities and countries.
The ceremony, presided over by Pope Francis, was attended by Governor Obiano's wife, Ebele, their children, party members, family, and other guests.
