Michael Oluronbi, a 60-year-old Cherubim and Seraphim pastor based in Birmingham, in the United Kingdom, was found guilty of 24 counts of child sexual abuse and rape on Tuesday, January 14th. He was convicted of 15 counts of rape, seven counts of indecent assault, and two counts of sexual assault. The Federal Government has declared Amotekun illegal, just days after its inauguration by South-West Governors to combat insecurity in the region.    Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, stated on Tuesday, January 14 that Amotekun is not supported by any existing law in the country.
