Report: Tanker Drivers Arrested by DSS in Kano For Strike Action

A group of petroleum tanker drivers in Kano who protested against the arrest of four of their members for alleged attempt to smuggle petroleum products out of the country, have been taken into custody by the Department of State Security (DSS) after shutting down filling stations in the area.   The arrests took place on Tuesday February 18, with the drivers facing charges of unlawfully closing down filling stations.
