Modibbo Adama University dismisses two lecturers and Deputy Registrar for sexual harassment and fraud

The governing council of Modibbo Adama University has dismissed two senior lecturers for sexually harassing a student. The lecturers, Dr Yakubu Bobboi and Dr Toma Fulani Mbahi, from the Department of Animal Science and Range Management, were found guilty of victimizing and sexually harassing a Masters student, Miss C. A. Bathon. A statement by the institution's spokesperson Aminu Gururmpawo on Tuesday March 3 also revealed that a Deputy Registrar, Bakari Girei, was dismissed for misappropriating N1.12 million belonging to the university’s Primary School Parent/Teacher Association’s (PTA).
