The arrest of four Nigerian men in Cambodia on Tuesday, 2 March, for suspected involvement in online fraud and kidnapping has made headlines. Deputy Prosecutor Seng Heang and his team, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, carried out a search at Zong Ruby condominium in Sen Sok district, Phnom Penh at 12:20 which led to the arrest of the Nigerian nationals. The four men, three of whom were pictured, were sought in connection with a kidnapping case in Vietnam and have now been handed over to the Criminal Police Department for further proceedings. Among the items confiscated by the police during the operation were 3 passports, 4 laptops, 8 cell phones, one SIM card number, a yellow metal cord, 15,000 riel, US $ 5, and two bags.
