193 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria, total confirmed cases now 5162

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 5162, with 193 new cases reported. The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed that on Thursday, May 14, 2020, 58 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, 46 in Kano, 35 in Jigawa, 12 in Yobe, 9 in FCT, 7 in Ogun, 5 in Plateau, 5 in Gombe, 4 in Imo, 3 in Edo, 3 in Kwara, 3 in Borno, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Nasarawa, and 1 in Ondo. Additionally, the NCDC stated that it had corrected an error made in its announcement on Wednesday, May 13. The health agency clarified that two cases reported from Kaduna were repeat tests, leading to a total of 114 confirmed cases in Kaduna. The government of Burundi has expelled the top World Health Organization (WHO) representative and three other experts who were coordinating the Coronavirus response in the country. Mid-air Parachute Entanglement Leads to Terrifying Skydive Accident (Video)

When their parachutes became entangled mid-air, two skydivers fell from the sky and landed on the ground with a hard impact.   The frightening incident was filmed by Facebook user Christina Renfroe in Florida on Wednesday, May 13, as she was walking her dog and witnessed the drama unfolding in the sky.   She wrote, "Was at the dog park today and this happened. They hit the ground and hard. This was a tandem jump gone horribly wrong!
