Coronavirus: Nasarawa, Niger state governors go into self-isolation
Governors of Nasarawa and Niger states are in self-isolation due to their attendance at a meeting with Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed, who has tested positive for COVID-19. Governor Abubakar Sani Bello and his counterpart in Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Sule, have taken this precautionary measure after their participation in the Nigeria Governors’ Forum meeting on March 18th.
In a recent statement, Governor Sani Bello's Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel Berje, mentioned that the decision to self-isolate was made because the Governor was in Abuja the entire previous week for various meetings and events, including those with President Buhari and the World Bank.
