Lagos state government: Six new cases of Coronavirus detected on a vessel in the state

Confirmation has been made by the Lagos state Ministry of Health of the report by the NCDC regarding the detection of 6 out of the 12 new cases of Coronavirus in the state on Thursday, March 26, on a vessel that arrived in the state.   It is to be noted that the Nigerian Ports Authority raised concerns on Twitter about the report indicating that six of the cases were detected on a vessel.     A tweet from the Lagos state government on Friday morning revealed that out of the six cases detected on a vessel, one is a Polish national, another is a Ukranian, while the remaining four are Nigerians.

The confirmation of six new cases of Coronavirus on a vessel in Lagos state

The report by the NCDC regarding the detection of 12 new cases of Coronavirus in Lagos state on Thursday, March 26, has been confirmed by the Lagos state Ministry of Health. Among these cases, six were identified on a vessel that arrived in the state.   It is worth noting that the Nigerian Ports Authority raised concerns to the NCDC via Twitter regarding the announcement that six cases were identified on a vessel.     In a tweet posted on Friday morning, the Lagos state government disclosed that among the six cases identified on the vessel, one is a Polish national, another is Ukrainian, and the remaining four are Nigerians.
