The Nigerian Ports Authority Disputes NCDC Claims of New Covid-19 Cases Found on a Vessel in Lagos

Confirmation of 12 new cases of Coronavirus in Lagos was announced by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday night. The agency's tweet mentioned that 6 of the cases were identified on a vessel that arrived in Lagos.   Challenging this assertion, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has demanded the NCDC provide information about the vessel where the cases were supposedly found.   Expressing their discontent on Twitter through their official handle, NPA stated; Hello @NCDCgov.
