Government Commits to Funding Community Policing, says Chief of Air Staff, Sadique Abubakar
Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, the Chief of Air Staff, has revealed that the Federal Government is in full support of community policing and is prepared to provide funding for it.
After a meeting with President Buhari and other service chiefs, Abubakar informed reporters that the Nigerian Air Force has taken delivery of two fighter helicopters as part of the anticipated military and police equipment.
He also mentioned that additional equipment is scheduled to arrive in the country by the end of February.
Abubakar stated;
"A substantial number of equipment is expected to be procured by the end of February, and some of these items have already started arriving.
