Kebbi state has discharged its first case of COVID-19

The index case of COVID-19 in Kebbi State has been discharged.   Jafar Mohammed, Chairman of the Task Force on COVID-19, announced to the press this morning that the index case had been hospitalized for COVID-19 treatment and was released on Tuesday, May 12, after testing negative for the virus twice.   Currently, the state has 24 confirmed cases of the virus.
